Managing Sales Agents

  • Performance manage all sub ordinates – 25 MTD transaction per agent
  • Manage target of regionals – each regional to have a set target monthly on the number of transactions that needs to be achieved
  • Ensure regionals are meeting their agents and getting marketing material to them, and make sure that agents are putting up the material
  • Ensure regionals are pushing agents in the correct areas for sign up
  • Ensure regionals have enough support – sales supervisors and agents to achieve required targets
  • Brand awareness and marketing (poster, flyers and promotions)
  • Ensure regionals are fully skilled to train up new agents
  • Ensure schedules are drawn up
  • Continue to grow teams – based on company strategy
  • Ensure SMS to customers are sent for sign up
  • Target top African countries as per Hello Paisa offering

Customer Services

  • Ensuring regionals have trained up agents well enough and all customers are educated to send money with Hello Paisa applications or USSD
  • Ensure regionals manage their teams and their service towards customers
  • Ensure  agents are assisting customers with transactions via their sign up apps
  • Ensure regionals train up the agents correctly to assist with any customer queries via the call centre or sales support
  • Handling transactions queries

Ensuring responsible growth and cost saving 

  • Manage employees who have been allocated travel expenses(agent with no vehicles)
  • Manage fuel usage of agents with vehicles
  • Manage all subordinate monthly expense claims and ensure it is with in budget provided
  • Ensure regionals get their agents to bring in transaction from customers signed ups

Process and Procedures

  • Ensure sub ordinates schedules are followed as instructed
  • Get info from regionals who identify gaps in sales process to be rectified
  • Ensure regionals comply with sales process
  • Ensure regionals are trained to ensure sale agents follow monthly expense process and procedure
  • Ensure regionals comply with the process of dealing with customer queries 
  • Comply with procedure to hire and terminate staff

Training and Development

  • Identify training gaps of sub-ordinates
  • Competitor analysis with in their territorial areas (market research)
  • Continuous feedback of the sign-up app and customer app
  • Identify gaps in the sign-up process and report back

Knowledge of Hello Paisa and other products of the Hello Group

  • Be current and knowledgeable on product, FICA and systems
  • Ensure regionals are fully trained
  • Understand the difference between cash collection remittance and bank account remittance
  • Market feedback on our product

Planning and Strategies

  • Nationals should strategize on sales areas to target
  • Setting targets and restructuring if targets are low
  • Running campaigns to increase business – uses regionals to fulfil this
  • Analysis of current sign up and transaction, this assisting in change need to be made to improve sales
